A Leading Retailer of luxury jewelry and watches is looking for a Commercial Manager
Previous Experience in Luxury Brand Management is a must
• Understand how the business operates overall in order to make changes that can continually satisfy our customers, and bring profits to the business
• To have a complete market awareness, including awareness of international markets
• To be able to translate this market awareness into specific actions that need to be defined for the concerned departments in the company
• To be aware of how the company’s profits change how the company operates as a whole
• Expected to outline how decisions made will affect the long-term operation of the business
• Must also have the ability to lead
• Need a strong process-driven analytical mind, since an enormous amount of information needs to be processed (reports, studies, statistics…), and assist in the decision-making process that can determine the success or failure of the commercial activities of the company
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
On any given day, the Commercial Manager might perform and participate actively in the following duties:
• Propose each brand’s sales and marketing strategies with targets, accountability, and actively participate in their implementation
• Managing stock, in terms of the forecast requirements, shipping calls (purchasing), pricing, sales promotions, stock control, and plan a reporting system, internally, as well as to suppliers.
• Assessing and establishing budgets, P&L, forecasts, and 3 year vision
• Competition analysis, in both local market, as well as regionally/internationally
• Customer analysis and establishing a strong CRM guideline
• Logistical follow-up: doent preparation, shipments, custom-clearance procedures
• Training of Sales team: brand knowledge, sales techniques, procedural issues, follow-up on orders, requests, and reviewing issues with customers that require attention
• Create the “Company's Experience”, with consistency in the quality of the sales-process
• Team-management: Shift scheduling, create an incentive system, set sales-targets
• Merchandising procedures and guidelines, and their implementation
• Attend supplier meetings in SIHH, Basel Fair, Vicenza, and presenting company doentation
• Review novelties and activities of notable watch and jewellery brands during fairs
• Developing brand portfolio, establishing budgets for each brand, and brand acquisition plans
• Plan objectives for every existing POS, and study new POS opening over 5 year period
• Preparing market and sales overview during supplier visits to Lebanon
• Follow-up on local fairs
• Participate in the preparation and follow-up of Chronora events
